Rottweiler Rescue of Los Angeles was formed to rescue and rehome Rottweilers, providing an alternative to the animal shelter for southern California owners who can no longer keep their dogs. We accept Rottweilers of all ages, including seniors and those with special needs. While we are dedicated to Rottweilers, we occasionally accept mixed breeds and other purebreds as space allows.

Rottweiler Rescue of Los Angeles not only provides care for dogs while they are waiting for adoption, we also provide follow up assistance for the life of the dogs.

If for any reason the adoption falls through, the dog must be returned to Rottweiler Rescue of Los Angeles.

Our adoption application, although lengthy, is necessary to make sure the dog and the home are compatible.

Rottweiler Rescue of Los Angeles is dedicated to obedience training for all dogs with special emphasis on our Rottweilers. All dogs are spayed and neutered, updated on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

Dogs with special medical needs are evaluated by our veterinarian for treatment. Dogs with other special needs are evaluated by our trainers.
